Chloe Berge is a travel and lifestyle journalist based in Vancouver, B.C. After taking two years off to discover Europe and South America, Chloe earned a B.A. in art history and an M.A. in journalism. She lived in Toronto for a number of years, where she worked as an editor for two national lifestyle magazines, before returning to her beloved hometown of Vancouver and turning to freelance writing in 2017. Chloe is a regular contributor to Fodor’s, and has written about travel, books and culture, and health for publications including Condé Nast Traveler, Atlas Obscura, Canadian Geographic Travel, ELLE Canada, and FASHION. She also lends her copywriting creativity to brands like lululemon and Aritzia.
When she’s not writing, you can find her reading a novel, lacing up her hiking boots to explore B.C.’s coastal mountains, or heading to the airport. Her wanderlust has taken her to the Peruvian Amazon, the deserts of Jordan, and the jungles of central India. She’s perpetually planning her next adventure—and her next story.
